Built in 1909, The St. Anthony Hotel in downtown San Antonio is a historic National Historic Landmark known as the "Waldorf of the Prairie". Located across from Travis Park, it blends old-world elegance—such as Italian marble and crystal chandeliers—with modern luxury, and famously became the first fully air-conditioned hotel in the world in 1936.
