The MCM Designation Program meets the goals of the IRES Foundation by enhancing the development of continued education of professional insurance regulators and also that of Compliance staff of Insurance companies.
When the MCM program was first considered, the IRES Foundation was instrumental in funding the development of this program. The Foundation has continued its support of the ongoing development and implementation of MCM. In most instances, an MCM class is scheduled immediately preceding or following IRES Foundation sponsored The National School on Market Regulation.
The MCM program covers the full spectrum of the market conduct process by providing hands-on-training for not only the seasoned market conduct staff of insurance companies but also for the compliance staff of insurance departments.
The MCM program contains a comprehensive curriculum with class materials covering the full spectrum of the market conduct process. The class is designed to include industry representatives and regulatory representatives who will work together through projects and is designed so that both parties see the challenges each other face.
In order to learn more about this opportunity, visit the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society web site (http://www.go-ires.org/events/mcm.cfm). You will find information regarding the date, location, and host of the class held closest to your location/schedule. Also included is a more detailed explanation of topics covered and continuing education credits gained for those already holding a CIE or AIE designation.
